I thought people where lying about showdown but holy [censored]

I still beat it on the first try cuz showdown has never been too hard for me but the difference is crazy. exit velos are stupid low, even on perfect perfects, the AI's defense is on another level and the pitching is jus woeful. idk how I beat it. definitely not grinding showdowns anymore.
